When do I announce my candidacy?

Candidacy may be announced at any time. Potential candidates interested in seeking election to a local office should review the Nassau County Candidate Handbook   the Supervisor of Elections office for additional information.

How do I become a candidate?

Contact our office for details pertaining to each office up for election.  For qualifying information as a municipal candidate, please contact the clerk for your municipality.
